Welcome to Holistic Quality Community! By using our platforms (Community Hub, Steady Glow, CHISPA, ALETHE, Frequency, and The Institute), you agree to these terms.

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using any HQ platform, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service and our Privacy Policy. If you don't agree, please don't use our services.

• You must be at least 13 years old to use HQ Community
• You're responsible for maintaining account security
• One person, one account (no fake accounts)
• You must provide accurate information

2. Account Responsibilities

Your Account

• You're responsible for all activity under your account
• Keep your password secure and confidential
• Notify us immediately if your account is compromised
• Don't share your account with others
• Don't create multiple accounts to evade restrictions

Account Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms. You can delete your account anytime from settings.

3. Content & Conduct Guidelines

What You Can Do

• ✅ Provide constructive feedback

What You Can't Do

• 🚫 Hate Speech: No discrimination based on race, gender, religion, sexuality, etc.
• 🚫 Harassment: No bullying, stalking, or threatening behavior
• 🚫 Explicit Content: No pornography, graphic violence, or disturbing content
• 🚫 Spam: No unsolicited advertising, repetitive posts, or manipulation
• 🚫 Illegal Activity: No promoting or facilitating illegal acts
• 🚫 Impersonation: No pretending to be someone else
• 🚫 Doxxing: No sharing private information without consent
• 🚫 Manipulation: No gaming systems, vote manipulation, or fake engagement
• 🚫 Malware: No viruses, exploits, or malicious code

4. Content Ownership & Licensing

Your Content

You retain ownership of all content you create on HQ platforms. We don't claim ownership of your notes, posts, or contributions.

License to Us

When you share content publicly, you grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide license to:

• Display your content on HQ platforms
• Distribute it to other users who can see it
• Create derivative works (like formatted versions)
• Use it for promotional purposes (with attribution)

Important: Private content stays private. We only use public content as needed for platform functionality.

Your License from Us

We grant you a limited, non-exclusive license to use HQ platforms for personal, non-commercial purposes. You can't:

• Resell or commercialize our services
• Reverse engineer our technology
• Scrape data without permission
• Use our brand without authorization

5. Intellectual Property

Our IP

• HQ platforms, designs, and code are © Holistic Quality, LLC
• The Dimensional Literacy Framework is our intellectual property
• Logos, trademarks, and branding are protected
• Research and documentation are copyrighted

Fair Use

You may reference or discuss DLF concepts in your work with proper attribution. See our Attribution Policy for details.

6. Dimensional Scoring & XP

How It Works

• AI (Claude) scores your notes for dimensional growth quality
• Scores are C (developing), B (solid), A (excellent)
• Community validation adds weight (Resonates, Reflects, Glows)
• Combined scoring determines XP earned

No Guarantees

• XP and scores are for engagement, not contractual rewards
• We may adjust scoring algorithms to improve accuracy
• Leaderboards are for community visibility, not competition
• We reserve the right to remove manipulated scores

7. Community Standards Enforcement

Reporting

If you see content that violates these terms, report it. We review all reports and take action when appropriate.

Consequences

• Warning: First minor violation
• Temporary Suspension: Repeated or moderate violations
• Permanent Ban: Severe or persistent violations
• Legal Action: For illegal activity or serious harm

Appeals

If you believe a moderation decision was wrong, you can appeal via support.

8. Disclaimers

Service Availability

HQ platforms are provided "as is" without warranties. We strive for 99.9% uptime but can't guarantee uninterrupted service.

Content Accuracy

User-generated content represents individual perspectives, not HQ's views. We don't verify accuracy of community contributions.

Not Professional Advice

HQ platforms provide information and tools for personal growth, not professional medical, psychological, or legal advice. Consult professionals for serious concerns.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Holistic Quality, LLC is not liable for:

• Indirect, incidental, or consequential damages
• Loss of data, profits, or opportunities
• User-generated content or third-party actions
• Service interruptions or technical issues

Total liability is limited to $100 or the amount you paid us in the past 12 months, whichever is greater.

10. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Holistic Quality, LLC from claims arising from your:

• Violation of these terms
• User-generated content
• Infringement of others' rights
• Illegal or harmful activities

11. Changes to Terms

We may update these terms as HQ Community evolves. When we do:

• We'll update the "Last Updated" date
• Significant changes will be announced
• Continued use constitutes acceptance
• You can review change history on GitHub

12. Termination

By You

You can stop using HQ platforms and delete your account anytime from settings.

By Us

We may suspend or terminate access for:

• Violations of these terms
• Illegal activity
• Harm to the community
• Extended inactivity (after notice)

13. Dispute Resolution

Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, United States, without regard to conflict of law principles.

Informal Resolution

Before filing a claim, please contact support to resolve disputes informally.

Arbitration

If informal resolution fails, disputes will be resolved through binding arbitration rather than court, except where prohibited by law.

14. Miscellaneous

Entire Agreement

These terms, along with our Privacy Policy and other policies, constitute the entire agreement between you and HQ.

Severability

If any provision is found invalid, the remaining provisions remain in effect.

No Waiver

Our failure to enforce any right doesn't waive that right.

Assignment

You can't transfer your account or these terms. We may assign them to a successor.
